Pros and Cons

Though many sportsbooks come with their fair share of issues, ESPN Bet has come out the gates without too many notable issues as you can see below.

Pros
  • Exclusive ESPN Bet Boosts
  • Excellent Sign Up Bonus
  • Heaps of Markets
  • Live Betting
  • All Major Sports Available
Cons
  • Not Available in all States
  • Bonus Payouts have been Questioned
  • No Live Streaming
  • Limited Banking Options

ESPN Bet Sportsbook

ESPN Bet became a fully-fledged sportsbook in 2023 under the Penn Entertainment umbrella, featuring cutting-edge features, speedy loading times, custom offers, and exclusive boosts.

Additionally, they are a well-rounded sportsbook intended to capture the eyes of their American customers.

ESPN Bet Live Betting

Live betting is available for customers, with live price updates happening as the play unfolds; this is quite handy if you feel the game isn’t going the way you initially intended and wish to place another wager to counteract your loss.

ESPN Bet Boosts

One of the things I like most about them is their exclusive boosts that allow you to place the same amount of money on a bet for a higher return in profit. These boosts can be found throughout most available sports; however, not all at once, as these are specific to the sports being played at the time.

At the time of writing, the sports odds boosts are available for the following:

  • Golf
  • NBA
  • NHL
  • NFL

Betting

When I say that they have tonnes of markets available, I mean it. Every sport on their site has so many betting markets to choose from, which can sometimes be intimidating.

One thing I can say though, while it is excellent having so many markets available when you are looking for a specific market to place a wager on, it does get a bit frustrating scrolling for miles; they have accommodated for this by having tabs at the top of the screen for market types, making finding specific market so much easier.

Move the Line

Move the line is something not all sportsbooks have available and something I personally like to see, it allows the customer the ability to change the betting odds by changing the market.

For example, if the Seattle Seahawks were playing the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL and the Match Spread was +9 to the Seahawks, but you think that the Cowboys will be winning by significantly more or less, Move the Line gives you the ability to change the +9 to a higher or lower number to work in your favor.

The Signup

Signing up is a relatively easy process with all the expected information required to fill out your account information; this includes first name, last name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address and so forth; this is simply the information they require for you to prove you are a real person.

The signup process was quicker than I anticipated and only took around two minutes to complete; once that was done, it was time to deposit money into the account, which once again was a straightforward process.

Customer Support

They have a link in the footer of all pages called “Support”, you are brought to a page with a search tab in the center aimed to solve most problems you may encounter.

Directly under this is a series of tabs for Account Information, Responsible Gambling, How to Bet, Legal, and of course an FAQ section.

However, if you really do need to speak to an operator, they have provided this information also (though it is also hidden in the bottom left corner of the screen)

Regardless, we have decided to provide the phone number and support email here to make things as easy as possible for you to find.
