The spring pro football league was a huge hit for football fans across the country as the XFL was reborn again in 2019. However, due to COVID-19, the season was cut short, and the rights were later sold to new owners, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and business partner Dany Garcia. They have high hopes for the XFL’s outlook and will be returning to a TV screen near you by 2022.
